قرأت الكتاب في ساعتين كان أسلوب الكاتب ممتعاً يحكي سيرة الحبيب بالمختصر المفيد وبشكل مبسط جداً قد أعده بما يناسب طلاب الثانوية
من نظرة أولية لتقسيم الكاتب تستشعر المنهجية البحثية التي أنتهجها حتى لانحمل عليه ونقارن بينه وبين تراجم وسير السابقين فيأخذنا التحامل بعيدا عن غاية وهدف الكاتب وخطته في الكتاب فننتقص من قيمته فهو ليس سيرة إبن هشام ولم يصل إلى مستوى الرحيق المختوم للمباركفوري بل هو أدنى قليلا، فكان مختصر للسيرة بذكر أحداث ووقائع الغزوات وأهم ما دار فيها وأهم رجالها....
